Aside from the absolute freedom, independence, and Highschool Musical-like random dance numbers(they do that in college, right?)
There are special course that you can choose to take. So without fur, durr or dew, here are is a list of awesome college courses you can take and my opinions on them.
1)At The University of Michigan
World-Wide Witchcraft: Witch-Belief & Witch-Hunting in Global Perspective
"Why did so many cultures, across several centuries and continents, work so hard to identify and kill so-called witches? This 100-level history class and freshman seminar encourages students to ask that question. It also looks at cultures and incidents where the persecution and killing of suspected witches still happens today."
my thoughts: ummm....O.O
2)At Columbia college in Chicago
Zombies in Popular media
"The flesh-eating undead are also the focus of a new course at the University of Baltimore titledMedia Genres: Zombies. The class' syllabus features such titles as Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and Patient Zero, and students will screen classic zombie horror films like George A. Romero's "Night of the Living Dead."
my thoughts: well..we're not really starting off very well here are we?
3)At the University of Maryland
The Science of Harry Potter
"In the Science of Harry Potter course, students analyze magic by applying concepts of physics, biology, chemistry and engineering, and they take a look at everything from the latest teleportation research ("apparating") to Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans and the science of taste. Physics professor George R. Plitnik says the class isn't all fun and games; however, he has been known to dress up as Hogwarts Headmaster Albus Dumbledore."
My thoughts: Okay..I know there are some Potterheads out there. For you
4)At The University of South carolina
Lady Gaga and the Sociology of Fame
"As he observed Lady Gaga's rise to fame(A professor who was obviously obsessed with her.), Deflem become intrigued by what makes a person famous and what it means to be famous in today's society, and that's exactly what the class delves into — from a sociological perspective, of course"my thoughts: you know, thinking about it, these classes dont appeal to me at all. that's it, im dropping out
